Bring awareness to the body and breath. The mind
will begin to quiet. Suddenly, beneath everything,
there is a sense of peace, of stillness, a glimpse of
union with the spirit. Without striving, without
pushing, we simply receive the fruits of our practice.
Note: Feel free to browse through this site to find out more about Kripalu Yoga and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. But I am out on the road, traveling at the moment, so I am not offering weekly classes or private sessions right now. Best wishes in your exploration!

Drop into a weekly Kripalu Yoga class.
Are you brand new to yoga? Have you practiced yoga in the past? All are welcome! No matter where you are on the continuum of flexibility and strength, you can find your place in our mixed-level classes. As you consciously breathe and stretch, you’re guided to explore that balance between effort and ease. The combination of postures, movements, and breathing techniques help to open up your body, release patterns of tension, and create the possibility for you to get to know yourself a little better. Every class ends with a period of deep relaxation, bringing you back to your center.
As you begin to practice yoga more regularly, you may find it easier to bring that quality of balance into your every day life.
- Try a private Kripalu Yoga session.
Private yoga sessions are tailored to the individual and are appropriate for a wide variety of intentions including: an introduction to yoga, finding modifications for a specific injury, or developing a home practice.
Phoenix Rising is a holistic one-on-one therapy combining the tradition of yoga with elements of body-centered psychology. For more information, click here. |
